About the Writer

Seka (pronounced SAY-kuh) Ojdrovic-Phillips has been writing since she could first spell her name. Granted, the material has become a bit more sophisticated since then. Now it’s search engine friendly web copy, action-inducing advertorials and well researched feature stories.

Wellington freelance copywriter

Her love of the craft is what keeps her writing fresh. Subscriptions to writing blogs keep her on top of what’s hot globally; her bookshelf is stocked with a myriad of writing resources; and her work with the local writing community keep the creative inkwells flowing.

Her roots in the American Pacific Northwest and her work experience in New Zealand imbue a new perspective that touches on all her written material. A firm belief in broadening horizons is what will always keep her work exciting.

For Seka, writing isn’t an off-the-cuff hobby: It’s a life purpose. She brings to her words the kind of passion and color that can’t be taught. What she brings to her writing is soul.
